Early College High School at Midland College is an innovative high school located on the Midland College Campus in West Texas. Through our partnership with Midland College, students have the opportunity to earn their associate's degree and a high school diploma so they are prepared for a bachelor's degree program. The cornerstone of our campus is our core values where students demonstrate their commitment to self and give back to the community. Every day, ECHS@MC students come and work along side college students, learning, growing, and achieving their personal and career goals.
Every ECHS@MC student has critical issues that they face. The ECHS@MC family of parents, students, community, and staff come together to "Rise Above, Go Beyond, and Conquer All."
Through innovative online learning adapted to meet each student at his or her learning need, students master "textbook" content online. Classrooms serve as laboratories where students learn communication and collaboration skills, experiment (under guidance) with materials, and identify and work to remediate environmental and social problems. Students and faculty work alongside Rose University students and faculty to conduct research and design solutions, from engaging elementary school students in sampling water quality to staging original plays with senior citizens.
ECHS@MC Faculty are passionate about growing kids.
