Cheyenne Elementary School (CES), located two hours west of Oklahoma City, serves a small yet diverse group of approximately two hundred students nestled within the red mesas of the Black Kettle National Grassland. The school serves as the heart of a strong, hardworking community focused on growth while maintaining traditional western Oklahoma values.
Faculty and staff at Cheyenne Elementary School know that the foundation for our students' success begins with connecting with families through mutual respect, open communication, and the establishment of a common goal - to instill a love of lifelong learning in every child. CES fosters these strong relationships through commitment to small class sizes with highly qualified, caring teachers who serve as the leaders of their learning communities. CES staff members enthusiastically use their individual experiences, subject-matter expertise, and educational passion to inspire students to maximize their own potential. Faculty and staff consistently embody a teamwork mentality by modeling an effective support system that promotes collaborative learning for all students. When it comes to positive and constructive student development, the faculty and staff members of CES have the most important job - inspiring the belief that each student is fully capable of achieving and obtaining each goal that establishes a successful academic career.
