Versailles Elementary School is the lone elementary building in the Versailles Exempted Village School District. We are committed to our motto of "Always doing what is best for each student". We are supported by a rural, agricultural community that values the importance of education and supports our school. We are proud of our students and their achievements. Our staff develops relationships with our families to ensure that our students receive an educational experience that promotes social/emotional growth as much as academic growth. We have high expectations of our students, families and ourselves.
We recognize the professionalism and expertise each of our staff members bring to the school. Our instruction is driven by student needs and teacher decision making that culminates into a learning environment that extends beyond the traditional classroom walls and spills out into our community. Through our "bucket filling" program we teach, model and practice the importance of character so our students become their best unique selves.
Our leadership focus is shared through our level of commitment in daily, weekly, and monthly collaborative professional learning opportunities that focus on the students and push our staff to learn right alongside them. We get to know each student and utilize our resources in creative ways to help them grow. Our PTO is very active and adds the "extras" that set our school apart from any other. There is no doubt that you are in a special place when you see the school spirit and feel the culture of our school. Tiger Pride! Tiger Pride!
