Full of hopes and dreams on the rural high plains of Eastern New Mexico, you will find Texico, New Mexico, home of the fighting Wolverines. The community of Texico is centered around Texico Municipal Schools which is comprised of three schools. Our local school board believes in and backs our staff which allows for high academic expectations to be the only acceptable option. Texico Middle School finds itself in the middle and doing great things. Texico Middle School takes the most pride in the educational climate that has been established. In the classrooms of Texico Middle School, you will find master teachers bringing years of experience to their instructional practices. Our teachers take pride in creating safe and engaging classrooms that lend themselves to the differing learning styles of various students. Instruction in Texico is not designed for students to sit and get. Instructional practices are also supported with technology. Every student has access to a school issued device allowing our twenty-first century learners to create and explore learning with limitless opportunities. Additionally, our teachers build academic relationships with students that create a respectful atmosphere for learning thus allowing for students to thrive socially, academically, and personally. The staff of Texico Middle School are the true reason that the students are successful and thriving.

To provide high quality instruction that emphasizes academic achievement while addressing the social, emotional, and physical needs of the middle school learner though a partnership between staff, families, and community. We believe academic and behavioral student success can be achieved by using a proactive approach for creating and maintaining a safe and healthy learning environment.
