Webb City's Eugene Field Elementary School, a longtime staple of southwest Missouri, is a neighborhood school located in the heart of the community. With the theme of Every Cardinal, Every Day, the faculty and staff at Eugene Field recognize that relationships with students, parents, and the community is what contributes to their success. Regardless of a large student population coming from economically-challenged families, Eugene Field has consistently scored in the top 15 percent on annual state assessments. Meeting the needs of all students, academically and socially, is what Eugene Field does best.

Although COVID-19 presented many challenges for the past two years, Eugene Field rose to the challenge and went above and beyond to make sure all students' basic needs were met while still building relationships and providing a quality education. Every Cardinal, Every Day - no matter what the obstacle. Throughout the years, Eugene Field has embraced many paths to contribute to their students' growth. Utilizing data to drive instruction, implementing improved grading practices, creating a Response to Intervention based on standards, and building a successful Title I program, teachers, staff, and administrator connected these programs to produce a positive impact on student achievement. Eugene Field partners with parents, local businesses, and community leaders to help invest in the overall well-being of every student through character education, assemblies, and donations to provide resources directly to students.
