Luther Conant School - Acton, MA

At Luther Conant School our goal is to make learning relevant and fun. Our community dedicates significant time and energy to growing a school culture that values and uplifts all aspects of our staffs' and students' identities. We support and challenge every student with compassion, collaboration, and flexibility as they grow into their most authentic selves - socially, emotionally, and academically.

Our school creates celebratory opportunities to connect and reconnect with families and caregivers, including a Conant Carnival, portfolio breakfasts, and cultural share projects inviting families into our learning spaces. Our students are actively engaged in service projects throughout the year engaging with local community organizations, such as Household Goods, the Acton Food Pantry, and the Green Team. We reflect on who we are as a community, particularly the past couple of years of the pandemic and its ripple effect, by deepening our trauma sensitive, Responsive Classroom, and culturally responsive practices. To support teaching and learning we are also creating teams of educators and building data literacy to enhance our universal, strategic, and intensive instruction.

Our hope is that every child leaves Luther Conant School feeling valued and respected, and a sense of belonging to our community!
