Frasch Elementary, located in Sulphur, Louisiana, is committed to providing an excellent education for all students through quality teaching and learning. No stranger to adversity, this school has upheld strong academic expectations and rich traditions despite the Covid-19 epidemic and catastrophic hurricanes. A substantial amount of Frasch families and stakeholders have endured tremendous hardship in these times, but the community has continued to persevere. Faculty and staff, along with a strong connection to business partners in the area, support the historic mission of the school.
Frasch Elementary takes pride in enriching the lives of all students through its prestigious Spanish Immersion program, technology enhanced learning, innovative teaching practices, positive behavior solutions, and effective communication with its families. Collaboration plays an influential role in providing students with educational opportunities and positive outcomes. School leaders and teachers regularly meet to strategize interventions that meet students where they are and accelerate learning with various instructional tools. Numerous clubs allow students to practice leadership and community servitude. The ATP committee, partnering the school with parents, brainstorms ways for families to get involved and takes action to support events and fundraising in the school.
Frasch continues to maintain a reputation of strong academic excellence. Its teachers participate in continued professional learning opportunities and serve as influential ambassadors for the school district with technology and curriculum.
