Students and staff strive for excellence each day at Brentwood Elementary School. We are known for our welcoming and positive environment where each student is encouraged to approach work with a growth mindset. Relationship building is at the forefront as all staff members take ownership of the entire student body and encourage them to persevere and flourish on a daily basis. Our Positive Behavior Intervention and Supports ticket system provides rewards for students' positive behavior. Targeted intervention time and consistent use of best practices are the foundation for closing learning gaps and enriching students. Brentwood teachers focus on data and develop plans to reinforce standards that promote growth in all academic areas. Data meetings are held consistently through the year to support students as they grow into well-rounded individuals.

Developing active learning experiences and times for students to be inquisitive keeps our Brentwood students yearning to come to school daily. Students enjoy hands-on activities through STEM projects and have time to be innovative problem solvers. Community Partners are brought in to highlight a variety of careers and strengthen the bond between our school and the community. The 4 C's (collaboration, communication, critical thinking, and creativity) are woven into daily lesson plans and are an integral part of vocabulary used throughout grade levels. A love of learning is created at Brentwood.
