Eisenhower Academy is a magnet school within Joliet Public Schools District 86. Our eager student learners come from a variety of diverse backgrounds and neighborhoods. Eisenhower is committed to ensuring that we provide an environment where students engage in enriching learning experiences that promote creativity, critical thinking, collaboration, and character building. We pride ourselves on our family culture amongst the principal, staff, parents, and students that has resulted in high standards of excellence. The success of Eisenhower Academy's students directly correlates to the strong relationships between students and staff that enhance student motivation and promote learning. Eisenhower fosters student motivation through problem-based learning and real life interactions, providing meaningful purposes for learning, high quality feedback, and opportunities for parent engagement. To assist students and families outside of the school environment, Eisenhower Academy staff offer monthly parent workshops to support students academically, socially, and emotionally. Our Parent-Faculty Council meets monthly with the administration and staff to promote innovative ways to enrich student learning through community building events and after school enrichment. Eisenhower students, along with all stakeholders, develop strong lasting bonds that strengthen the learning community. Our entire school community believes it's important to embrace all children's knowledge and sense of self while celebrating the accomplishments of every student.
