North Staff welcoming students on the first day.

St. Charles North is one of two public high schools in the D303 school system. Located in Kane County, Illinois, St. Charles North sits on the edge of the Fox River and serves students from various nearby communities. With roughly 2,000 students, the school boasts exceptionally high participation rates in activities, performance, and athletics. The school community cultivates greatness in both its students and staff by nurturing responsible, creative, and critical thinkers who problem solve, adapt, and continuously learn to better society. North's approach to academics begins with the belief that every student can learn at a high level. Staff, through commitment, professionalism, personal growth, and collegiality, make a difference in the lives of their students on a daily basis. Together with their students, the staff at St. Charles North build relationships rooted in encouragement and support. Through their journey of learning together, students grow to reach great heights, resulting in them being ready to take on any post-secondary goal they set for themselves.

Students at St. Charles North are also provided an array of academic choices that give them the freedom to pursue personalized learning pathways. These pathways culminate in capstone experiences that give students the chance to apply their learning in authentic ways. Internships, dual credit courses, advance placement classes, and career-centered programs that offer certifications are just a few ways our students immerse themselves in growth opportunities.
