Ridgeview Elementary School is one of the most diverse schools in Central Illinois. As a Title I school, we offer targeted practices to ensure all students grow and learn. Our district standards provide a strong foundation that promotes high levels of achievement in our core curricular areas. Emphasis is placed on science and technology which promotes innovation, creativity, and critical thinking skills. In addition to our core curriculum, students excel in fine arts through their involvement in daily physical education and weekly art, world language, vocal music, and technology. We have an exceptional school culture cultivated in a shared vision of meeting students where they are. Grace and accountability form the basis of this shared vision where we strive daily to be an "our kids" school. A strong partnership has been forged with our families to ensure we are working together as a team to meet the individual and collective needs of our students. Our PTO provides tremendous support through fundraising, hosting community building events such as our annual International Fair, and through volunteering regularly in our school.

Like all schools, we faced a tremendous challenge in educating children through a global pandemic. We are proud of the fact we were able to continue providing families with in-person and remote options for learning throughout the entirety of the pandemic. Our teachers and students demonstrated extraordinary perseverance and adaptability during this time period that helped all of us grow as people. The experience has served to make us a better school.
