Trion Middle School is a high achieving school that accelerates student learning and challenges students to become the best that they can possibly be. Located in a small mill town in Northwest Georgia, Trion Middle School shares its campus with Trion Elementary School and Trion High School. Students are able to develop more meaningful personal relationships, deeper school pride, and increased parent engagement when they share the same campus for more than a decade. Trion City Schools unites our community.

Trion Middle School offers accelerated classes at each grade level and three high school credit classes for our eighth grade students. TMS incorporates student centered classrooms, high learning expectations, and data informed instruction to ensure our students have a highly effective, positive learning environment. When students consistently have a voice in the classroom, regularly work in coorperative learning groups, and are continually challenged to meet high expectations they excel.

Teachers use a data informed approach to learning by using benchmarks and monthly assessment data to review student progress and to adjust their instruction and assessments accordingly. Students who require extra support receive review sessions or attend mandatory tutoring sessions each week for that additional support.
The motto of Trion City Schools - "Tradition, Commitment, and Success" - is exemplified at Trion Middle School. By building on the traditions of the past that created a strong foundation and by making a commitment to excellence through high expectations, our students experience accelerated levels of success every single day.
