Jones Elementary School is a targeted assistance Title I school located in the small town of Bremen, Georgia with a long tradition of educational excellence and exceptional achievements. The pursuit of "excellence in all we do" has literally flowed through the veins of the community and school system for many years. Our exceptional faculty and staff make it a priority to build long-lasting relationships with our students and inspire them to succeed in all academic areas. JES is viewed as a safe haven for the students of the Bremen community and surrounding areas, but more than anything else, we strive to provide an exemplary education where all stakeholders feel the school is an extension of their home.

JES offers a well-rounded education with a primary focus on the fundamentals of reading, writing, and arithmetic but we also include art, music, physical education, and technology integration into the daily life of the school. Additionally, we infuse STEM-related problem-based learning concepts into our curriculum to build learning stamina and establish a growth mindset in our students from an early age.

JES is exceptionally proud of the school-based reading program we have developed over the past several years. This PreK-3 reading program focuses on the five components of reading which are phonemic awareness, phonics, vocabulary, fluency, and comprehension. Our systematic approach to teaching reading coupled with the effective use of technology to collect assessment data that guides teacher instruction has provided consistent, high-achievement outcomes for our students on a yearly basis.
