North Dover Elementary students during Spirit Week!

North Dover Elementary is a Kindergarten to Fourth grade elementary school filled to the brim with Senator Pride. From the education provided students to the experiences that enrich their lives, we strive to develop lifelong learners, productive citizens, and well rounded senators. Through a variety of learning opportunities, we seek to provide each student a unique learning experience grounded in providing personalization. We offer band as early as grade three, chorus, basketball league, soccer league, and a variety of other activities that stretch beyond the school day, allowing students to develop social emotional skills that will prove beneficial in the school community and their lives. In the classroom, teachers develop learning experiences that incorporate collaboration, communication, and provide meaningful discourse around rich learning experiences in an effort to build student understanding and ownership.

North Dover strives to develop community relationships that connect our school to the community as a whole. We invite businesses to be a part of activities such as Wheels Day or our Open House. We take students to the high school so they may see the progression in their educational journey, with the belief that these activities help students develop their own visions for their learning. We partner with Delaware State University, Wilmington University, and Delaware Tech to expand opportunities for staff and students and build a network of teachers and volunteers to support our students.

In all, North is relationship based with the belief that all students will rise to the expectations set before them.
