Linden Hill Elementary School - Wilmington, DE

Our 2022 LHE Teacher of the Year and Class

Our 2022 LHE Teacher of the Year and Class

Linden Hill is a comprehensive public elementary school serving a diverse population in Wilmington, Delaware. Through offering unique programming opportunities, such as language immersion and The Leader In Me, we have maintained a positive reputation for offering a top-notch educational experience that prepares our students for a bright future.

Upon entering Linden Hill, you will notice that the brightly colored hallways are lined with student work, leadership language, and welcoming faces. It is evident our shared vision of creating a culture of leadership is the foundation we have built upon. Our lions are encouraged to "Love, Lead & Learn" and are positively reinforced for displaying these qualities.

As we strive to meet the needs of the whole child, students who require additional social-emotional or behavior support are provided targeted interventions such as individual and group counseling, participation in Check-In/Check-Out, and movement breaks at our "Regulation Station." Additionally, students can take their learning outside of the building by visiting our outdoor Learning Pavilion. Beyond the school day, we encourage our students to participate in extracurriculars such as Kids on the Run, Lego League, Drama Kids, Computer Kids, Coding, and the school musical.

Here at Linden Hill, we aim to provide our developing young learners access to rigorous academic instruction, appropriate interventions, individualized social-emotional supports, and a variety of extracurricular activities to help them become confident and active leaders within their community. As lions, we are committed to growing our "pride" one habit at a time!
