E. O. Smith High School - Storrs, CT

E.O. Smith is a regional high school located on the University of Connecticut (UCONN)-Storrs Campus. Through a unique partnership with UCONN, E.O. Smith students have the opportunity to enroll in on-campus courses, share athletic field space and participate in special events hosted by the university. This integration provides exposure to advanced learning opportunities and rich co-curricular experiences.In addition to expanded curricular offerings, we provide diverse learning opportunities that include an agricultural education program, a Big Picture Learning setting, and an 18-21-year-old transition program.

At E.O. Smith, students are encouraged to learn and grow as individuals, to create their own pathway, while participating as active members of their community.Having a history of advocacy for the marginalized members of society, E.O. Smith offers theme-based teach-ins and fundraising events to serve disadvantaged members of its local community.As a result of this exposure to the living conditions of others, students at E.O. Smith gain a rich sense of social justice through the curriculum and active citizenship experiences.
