Fallon Middle School is a joyful and innovative learning community focused on the healthy development of young adolescents. At its core, Fallon is a place where teachers, administrators, and support staff work collaboratively to ensure that all students feel competent and confident in their ability to master the skills essential to success in the 21st Century: critical thinking, creativity, collaboration, literacy, mathematics, science, and technology. We value life-long learning and understand that continuous intellectual growth requires actively nurturing the physical, social and emotional needs of the community. Fallon staff, students, and parents are engaged as partners in the process of modeling and teaching students how to create a healthy lifestyle, manage emotions, set and achieve positive goals, feel and show empathy for others, establish and maintain positive relationships, and make responsible decisions. We continuously strive to help young adolescents identify and appreciate connections between themselves and their peers, their families, our school and community, our global village, and the natural world.

6th Grade Orientation

6th Grade Orientation

Eleanor Murray Fallon Middle School vibrates with creativity, curiosity, opportunity, progress, and a positive climate. Students can expect a robust core curriculum that engages, supports, and challenges all students. Our teachers collaborate in grade-level professional learning communities, and continue to seek new and innovative ways to best meet the needs of all students. We are a destination school, with a Site Plan for Student Achievement in place that emphasizes equity, intervention, high levels of learning, literacy, STEM (science, technology, engineering, and math), the arts, athletics, technology, and building community.

Social and Emotional Learning and support plays a fundamental role in our school. Our Character Strong curriculum, restorative practices, robust counseling program, Peer Education and Counseling (PEAC), and our Wellness Counselor are just some of the ways we support our students. Additionally, we recently launched our new 6th Grade Orientation, "Where Everybody Belongs," designed to ease the transition to middle school, provide leadership opportunities for 8th graders, and strengthen our community partnerships.

We firmly believe in the education of the whole child, offering students a wide variety of electives in addition to core academic classes, that includes Speech and Debate, AVID, French, Spanish, Digital Photography, band, orchestra, art, choir, and Project Lead The Way (Engineering and Technology courses). On campus, people can feel the rhythm of students learning and a dedicated staff committed to empowering students. Supporting the whole child, building our relationships with one another, and strengthening our parent and community partnerships enables Fallon Middle School to provide the greatest educational experiences and opportunities for our students.
