Richardson PREP HI Middle School in San Bernardino, California embodies "High Expectations with High Support for All" within every system, person, and program here at RPH. We know and experience that those who feel supported, celebrated, and included will meet or exceed high expectations when it comes to both academics and behavior. We work to create a family atmosphere, as we really do spend so much time together. Warm greetings at the door for parents, students, and staff, as well as Family Movie Nights, Coffee with the Principal, small counseling groups, and fun staff activities all help create this atmosphere.

Our ROAR (Respect, Ownership, Attitude, Responsibility) Code of Conduct helps all staff, students, and families stay accountable for high expectations in all of our actions and behaviors. We reward students for demonstrating these behaviors through special lunches, music in the quad, Tiger money that can be redeemed at our student store and raffles, and special acknowledgement in our Tiger Television series.

We have a plethora of enrichment and extracurricular activities offered after school that include Science and Robotics club, Academic teams, music, art, and many sports. We also have intense support and tutoring for struggling students so we can rally with and behind them in regaining their academic momentum. Our team approach to teaching and learning promotes a collaborative and united environment for staff and students, making it ripe for success and growth.

Each year, as we bring our school year to a close, parents, staff, and students reflect on how much of an honor it is to be a Richardson Tiger. We never say farewell to anyone without reminding them, "Once a tiger, always a Tiger!"
