Grapeland Elementary school prides ourselves on being every child's favorite place to be! We do this by creating a shared vision that focuses on academic achievement for all students, providing a safe and positive school environment, and fostering student, family, and community engagement. Our school has a rich history of academic excellence which has been achieved by utilizing data to drive instruction, building strong foundational literacy, developing critical reading and writing skills, providing targeted instruction during universal access, fostering student engagement, and utilizing technology and digital tools.

We promote a safe and positive school environment by focusing on healthy habits, physical fitness, positive relationships through character education, and fostering resiliency.We have built strong connections with our families and our community by providing a variety of extended learning and enrichment opportunities, using a array of platforms to provide consistent and timely communication, and providing a wide range of opportunities for our families to be involved with our school. Grapeland is truly a great place to be for our students, families, and staff!

Grapeland Elementary School is committed to providing a quality education with an emphasis on academics. We believe students are our highest priority. All students are capable of learning and are worthy of our best efforts. All students should have access to a balanced, rigorous, standards-based curriculum derived through a quality culturally responsive instructional program. All students will flourish in an atmosphere of love and respect.
