Clovercroft Elementary School is one of 29 elementary schools in Williamson County, TN and currently serves approximately 700 students in grades K-5. This past year we celebrated our 10 year anniversary of successfully implementing the shared mission for our school. Since our last National Blue Ribbon award in 2015, we have continued to focus on building and strengthening the four legs of our stool to provide the best education for each child. The legs of our stool: teacher, parent, child, and school, each represent a key component of education.
The most instrumental strategy to our school's success has been building teacher capacity to focus our efforts on increasing achievement for all students. Our staff works in a collegial and collaborative manner to ensure that all students become successful learners and productive citizens. We maintain very high expectations for all students and work student by student and standard by standard towards mastery. Collectively we implement an inclusive instructional approach through which we provide a continuum of opportunities that includes a multi-tiered system of academic, behavioral, and social/emotional supports for every student.
Each day we celebrate and remind each other what it means to be a Clovercroft Colt! We recite the Clovercroft Creed which outlines our school's values, "We are Clovercroft! Committing ourselves to living above the line, by taking ownership of our learning and serving our school and community with integrity. That's how Colts learn, grow, and succeed. Go Colts!" At Clovercroft, our students and staff are committed to "living and learning above the line."
