North Kingstown High School is focused on creating opportunities for all of our students to be competitive in our local and global communities. By accomplishing our task as an educational institution, we can expect our students to be responsible young adults who will be prepared to join the larger society as productive citizens, lifetime learners and concerned individuals.

Our success is defined by our students' success. We strive to create pathways and flexible opportunities for students to pursue their interests through coursework and activities. An NKHS graduate's transcript typically reflects a variety of learning experiences. In addition to a vast Program of Studies and four Career and Technical Academies, students can choose Advanced Placement, dual and concurrent college enrollment, and All Course Network (ACN) offerings through the RI Department of Education.

Our community supports student learning with a beautiful facility highlighted by our television/video production studio, photography suite, and the engineering classrooms which provide a dynamic space for students to collaboratively showcase their innovation in problem solving and design, while also providing a location for these designs to become reality in both curricular and extra curricular activities. Our continually updated and evolving campus reflects our commitment to work-based learning skill development for all students.
