A community's need to educate its young is usually addressed early in a community's development. Clearly, the importance of giving each child, no matter how isolated he/she is geographically, the opportunity to receive the best possible public education was as important to area residents in 1912 as it is today. The school district encompasses over 900 square miles and is a place where all students feel welcome. The community, staff, and students know that our school is a place for everyone. Student engagement in the life of the school and community, and provides opportunities for students to develop to their full potential academically, emotionally, physically, socially, and culturally. Our school and community function as a team to engage, motivate, and provide students with a positive environment for learning and growth.
