Brink Junior High is in the Moore Public School district in southwest Oklahoma City. Overall academic excellence and commitment to the growth of every student has been a trademark of our school. At Brink we believe every student should be well rounded and actively involved to make their educational experience better. Extracurricular activities are an integral part of the school experience and they encourage team building, character development, philanthropy, and social skills.
The staff at Brink are expected to collaborate with one another to make their teaching more effective and the overall student experience better. We use our test data to determine deficiencies in student skills in order to develop a plan for each student. The pandemic this past year made it more difficult on everyone, but our staff was very resilient and student centered. Our staff was asked to learn a new online learning management system called Canvas, deal with the pandemic, and make sure all students had the chance to learn and advance. The staff at Brink are what make us a National Blue Ribbon School.
We are lucky to be supported by a good central leadership and parents that are supportive and actively engaged in their child's life. Every aspect of the student's life, including family, school, and community are extremely important in raising excellent members of society dedicated to lifelong learning. It is a great time to be a Brink Bobcat and we believe we are shaping today's students into tomorrow's leaders!
