It's a great day to learn and grow at Hocking Hills Elementary. Every student is important to us and we believe that all students need to know they are cared for and supported. We provide academic and social-emotional support through high quality small group instruction and appropriate support services. The staff and students give each other encouragement and help daily. We choose to be successful with a family culture that promotes kindness and hope.

Hocking Hills Elementary Staff utilize and examine data to always know where students are then set a goal for growth and learning. Hocking Hills Elementary is the smallest school in the Logan Hocking Local School District. We pride ourselves on providing high quality instruction with collegial collaboration within our professional learning community and gathering input and support from our community. With our small numbers, intervention supports can have a wonderful impact on student gaps in learning. Parents are very involved with our school and always offer to assist in any way that they can. Students know we communicate often with their parents and that teachers expect the best from the students every day.

Every day Hocking Hills Staff agree to meet the students where they are academically, socially, and emotionally. We also agree that the students can learn and grow each day. Students are supported and cared for with support for all of their needs. Each day is a chance to model collaboration, support, kindness, and hope within our school family to ensure that students know they are the center of what we do each day.
