Pinecrest Academy Inspirada was established in 2015 as a K-8 public charter school. The school is located in Henderson, Nevada, the southern tip of the valley, yet we attract students from 26 different zip codes across Clark County. Students and families seek out and remain at Pinecrest Inspirada as a school of choice because we foster a sense of Pioneer Pride as evidenced by school climate surveys indicating 100% of families feel valued and welcomed. In addition, we have been designated a "Five Star" school by the Nevada Department of Education for five consecutive years, and have become the first school in Nevada to be a STEM Certified School by Cognia (formerly AdvancED).
All staff at Pinecrest Inspirada collaborate in developing a culture where each individual feels valued, welcomed, and respected. We realize and value that parents are children's first and primary teacher. We purposely partner with parents to educate their children and invite parents to play a vital role in our daily operations. The positive professional culture at Pinecrest Inspirada is created by empowering teachers to make instructional decisions in the best interest of their students and by ensuring all staff have a voice in doing what is best for students. Finally, Pinecrest Inspirada meets the needs of culturally diverse students by selecting appropriate curriculum; providing instruction commensurate with students' ability levels; building relationships and leadership skills among our students; and building student confidence in themselves and respect for one another.
Pinecrest Inspirada is "Pioneering" the future!
