Mansfield Middle School is a small yet powerful place of learning situated in middle America where hard work and common sense still provide a framework for excellence. Even though small in numbers and external influence, Mansfield Middle School is positively influencing the next generation year after year. A dedicated and committed staff of highly qualified and innovative teachers provide instruction for students in a small Missouri town that is unrivaled among peers.
Mansfield middle school students are technologically advanced and skilled in real world applications on a daily basis by eMINTS certified teachers who facilitate learning through project based and student led activities. As principal Dr. Gary Greene says, "Our approach to learning is not that we know everything but that we are willing to try anything to make learning the end result. If something isn't working our teachers are willing to try something new and think outside the box if necessary to guarantee our students have a shot at success. This sometimes means that students have a direct say in what works best for their content mastery."
Because of the innovative nature of the faculty, Mansfield Middle School students are challenged daily to exceed societal expectations and expect more from themselves than they sometime want or think they are capable of. Students are recipients daily of the old saying that says, "kids don't care how much you know until they know how much you care". Relationship building is the cornerstone of success that makes Mansfield Middle School a great place to learn.
