Henry Ford Early College: Knowledge begins, but does not end.

The Henry Ford Early College is a five-year program where our students can obtain a high school diploma, an associates degree in applied science, and certification in a specific health program. We have a partnership with Dearborn Public Schools, Henry Ford Health System, and Henry Ford College. While we strive to build positive and collaborative relationships between our staff and students, our aim is to prepare students for careers in the healthcare industry while providing an academically rigorous curriculum.

At the Henry Ford Early College, we have student/teacher familiarity. We know our students. We apply looping for two years, where we have the same students for two years in a row. Because of this, we are able to individualize instruction, which allows us to improve academic performance. The staff is able to know our students and adjust and target our teaching styles accordingly. The Early College staff is a small staff that resembles a family. Because of the nature of our staff and school - its size and location - the teachers build a rapport with the students that spans five years. The staff take our role as educators seriously - not only for the students' academic success, but also for their emotional and social well-being. Offering a safe environment where students can question, engage, and learn is a key strategy to the success of our school.
