Baton Rouge Magnet High School is a dedicated magnet high school whose campus is listed on the National Register of Historic Places in Baton Rouge, Louisiana. The school is known for its high academic standards and developing the creative talents of all students through an extensive and varied curriculum. The school provides opportunities for students to build a solid college preparatory foundation by offering fifty-two honors and Advanced Placement courses that motivate students to accelerate beyond the normal challenge at each grade level. Most notably, the Advanced Placement program at Baton Rouge Magnet High School is the best in Louisiana, with students earning an average number of 4,000 college credits each year.
Baton Rouge Magnet High School recognizes the importance of building good character. The unique culture of the school provides the opportunity to join seventy-five different clubs and organizations as well as athletic programs to build life skills. Through the talented visual and performing arts programs, students excel fulfilling their creative potential.
