Maple School, home of the Mustangs and located in the Northern suburbs of Chicago, consistently demonstrates academic excellence and serves as an exceptional and safe space promoting student learning, leadership, and care. We are guided by our core values of taking responsibility for all students, bringing child-centric learning to life, and nurturing relationships and collegiality. Together, we create a community that craves learning, fosters resiliency, and cares deeply about every student.
We support an intelligent and invested community with kind, creative, and intrinsically motivated students. The resources and connections offered through collaboration with our community allows for meaningful and real world experiences that shape our students and push learning forward.
Maple's inclusive school environment cares for and welcomes all students, as demonstrated by its commitment to the Character Counts! framework, in which exhibiting the six pillars of character is expected. Middle school is an opportunity for students to discover who they are and explore what they may want to be as adults, which at times spurs insecurity and leads to mistakes. Maple encourages students who encounter obstacles to fail forward by learning and growing from their missteps with adult coaching and support.
The dedication and high quality of the Maple staff, coupled with immense community support and involvement, form a partnership in which student interests are at the forefront of all decisions and practices. Each student is every stakeholder's responsibility. This is part of the fabric that contributes to Maple School's continual success year after year.
