Prince of Peace Catholic School provides a values-based education that cultivates respect, academic excellence and faith development through a strong parish community. We work with every preschool-through eighth grade student to reach their personal potential. We develop and integrate strong academic expectations with respect for self and others in a spirit of faith, love and service. We encourage and challenge our students to develop their full potential academically, emotionally, physically, socially, and culturally. Our families are encouraged to share their time and talents to keep our school community strong, engaged, and committed.
Our dedicated teaching staff creates a unified program across grade levels and curricular areas, stressing teamwork and cooperation, significantly contributing to the sense of love, community, and learning in our classrooms. The teachers implement both State and Archdiocesan Standards to provide students with a 21st century curriculum, incorporating skills and strategies to prepare each student for high school and beyond.
We begin and end each day with prayer. Our weekly student-led masses allow us to come together with the student body as well as the community. Many parishioners are actively involved in our school masses, fundraisers, and school events.
With the goal of graduating the most prepared students, we strive for excellence in all aspects. Our curriculum tends toward advanced, which includes updated textbooks and platforms as well as a dedicated STEM Lab and 1:1 Chromebooks. We also offer a range of age-appropriate, balanced after-school opportunities and clubs that are unique to our school and students.
