Pleasant Valley High School - Bettendorf, IA

Pleasant Valley High School (PV) is located near the eastern border in Iowa. From our beginnings as a small, rural school almost 60 years ago, PV has grown into one of the larger schools in the state of Iowa with families and students who represent over 30 languages. A big part of this growth is due to strong communication and interaction with a supportive community and the dedication to creating the best school district we can be.

A great school is made up of great people who strive to build, nourish and strengthen relationships, and PV is no exception. Our ever growing staff is made up of passionate educators dedicated to developing creative, thoughtful, problem-solving students. Together, staff engage in the professional learning community (PLC) model on a weekly basis and teacher leaders, working with instructional coaches and building leaders, develop and deliver staff professional development to promote a growth mindset and collective thinking in the classroom for our students.
Students and their development as a citizen, person, and life long learner are at the center of our building. Our mission is to provide the best programs, opportunities and experience for not just one or some, but for all students.
