Located in Honolulu, HI, M?noa Elementary School was established in 1854. With its rich heritage and strong support of its families and surrounding community, together we nurture, empower and inspire all students through a wide variety of programs. We strive to balance both rigorous and inclusive academic practices as well as provide extra-curricular programs that support student well-being and the educational needs to develop the whole child.
Our campus is composed of dedicated administration, teachers, and staff that not only have high expectations of our students, but for themselves and each other as well. Although we are recognized as a high achieving school, our faculty is committed each year to implementing new strategies and practices that support in closing the academic gap. We have dedicated our time and resources to strengthen our inclusive practices to ensure that all students receive an equitable opportunity to quality education.
With the support from our Association of Parents and Teachers, and our belief in educating the whole child, we provide our students with additional resource classes such as Music, Physical Education, Technology, STEM, Hawaiian Studies, and Hawaiian Chant and Dance. In addition, our students have opportunities to participate in our Japanese Exchange Program, Robotics, Manoa School Student Association, and our after school Cub Club Program. We believe that all students deserve the opportunity to showcase their strengths and we hope that with these additional programs and a rigorous academic curriculum, our students will be prepared and inspired for life beyond M?noa Elementary School.
