Crabapple Lane Elementary is one of fourteen schools in Fayette County, Ga. Crabapple Lane is located in Peachtree City. Our community is known for its 90 plus miles of golf cart paths. Students may arrive at school each morning on a golf cart and hop on a golf cart for dismissal. Peachtree City has an annual 4th of July parade that involves many decorated golf carts. Our golf cart paths lead to parks, residential areas, retail areas. and local restaurants.
Crabapple Lane Elementary serves Pre-K - 5th grade including different support programs for students with special needs, remedial, and gifted. Our school has a strong parent volunteer base and these volunteers serve in a variety of capacities. They may organize the annual Fall Festival, help with book fairs, work with students in the classroom, or assist with our annual Red Bird Run. Our parents are very supportive and encouraging.
One of our greatest assets is our faculty and staff. Our teachers and support staff work tirelessly to meet the needs of all students. Our students participate in extended learning opportunities, hands on learning, a One Book One School community event, and Q and U weddings. Students are provided multiple opportunities to gain the skills they need to be Respectful, Safe and Present each day at school. These are the Positive Behavioral Interventions and Supports (PBIS) expectations that guide the positive approach to student behaviors. Students at Crabapple Lane receive an education that will prepare them for their next steps.
