AcadeMir Charter School Middle, promotes students' self-motivation to be successful in all subject areas, especially in science, mathematics, reading and technology, by progressively building on their individual talents and abilities. In order to foster students' life-long learning and allow them to reach their full potential as productive, responsible members of today's global and highly technological society, a nurturing, educational environment and the implementation of research-proven educational models will be utilized. These models focus on problem solving, collaboration, and communication through the integration of technology.

AcadeMir Charter School Middle (ACSM) takes pride when it comes to its well-rounded and diverse academic platforms. Although the student body is small at ACSM, students have a wide array of choices when it comes to both elective courses and extracurricular activities: Robotics, Forensics, Guitar, Broadcasting; Photography; Art; Dual Enrollment; Pert Prep; Foreign Language; Ecology; Speech/Law Studies; Dance; Computer - these courses allow our students to begin exploring different areas of interest, which they can then pursue to high school and even to their post-secondary studies. To continue, via after-school clubs or enrichment programs, students also have the opportunity to explore other areas in Academics, Arts and Athletics (i.e. Soccer, Volleyball and Basketball).
In addition, the focus on each individual student at ACSM is one that all stakeholders take pride in. The students are continuously challenged via their instructional sessions with both core and supplemental curriculum. As a charter school, AcadeMir Middle has and continues to take autonomous initiatives with curriculum planning and decision-making. Via the decision-making process, the leadership team at ACSM always prioritizes the students' overall academic success as well as their well-being. Student Services is always available to assist students with any social and/or emotional problem. Given the challenges that we faced and are still facing at a global scale with the COVID-19 pandemic, AcadeMir faculty and staff always assured the students' overall well-being as priority. Through both academic and behavioral interventions, ACSM's teams have been equipped with the right resources to target all these areas of need.
