Terrace Community Middle School (TCMS) is a public charter school serving the Tampa Bay, Florida area. For 23 years, Terrace Community Middle School has been the premiere middle school in Hillsborough County, providing thousands of students with a strong foundation of knowledge in a safe and secure learning environment. he school's "Back to Basics" philosophy focuses on teaching students how to read proficiently, write coherently and to solve problems analytically. Students leave TCMS with the tools they need to have successful academic careers. TCMS has earned an "A" school grade rating for 22 consecutive years and has earned three National Blue Ribbon School awards.
We strongly believe that our school culture contributes to the success of our students. In addition to the highly effective academic program, character education is incorporated into daily lessons. Our school motto is Respect, Responsibility, and Results. Developing strong character traits and learning how to be good citizens are an integral part of a student's day. Students are encouraged to participate in our diverse extracurricular activities that promote character development, teamwork, and community service.
