Andre Lucas Elementary School lives its mission and vision for students everyday. We are invested in the social, emotional, and academic growth of all children. We believe in and practice collective efficacy. We serve a unique population, as our students are military connected. Our children deal with deployment, frequent moves, and other family stressors. It is vital that our school creates a community where all staff members work together as a team to support children. Our school team shares the belief that we can positively impact all students, collaborate to implement effective instructional strategies to reach the needs of all learners, and consistently focus on student achievement.
Our beliefs directly affect our students and their success. Ownership of the achievement of all students drives that work that we do daily. It is not enough for one group of students to thrive; we want all our students to experience success. Our students come to school each day knowing that every adult is invested in their well-being. We engage one another in this practice through collaborative work in professional learning communities every week. Teams use data and insights from staff members to help develop and implement educational strategies for all learners. Andre Lucas Elementary School is a great place for both staff and students. We prepare our students for lifelong learning and success. We are certain that our continued work will help our students to flourish.
