Small group instruction

Frisbie School is an excellent place to be! The faculty and staff of Frisbie School believe in the philosophy of teaching the "whole child". We are committed to offering a safe and nurturing environment that supports both academic and social-emotional learning of our students.
Through high leverage strategies such as guided reading, small group instruction, and data driven instruction, our teachers provide rigorous learning opportunities that promote complex thinking and problem solving. It is our deep commitment to data-driven decision making that supports our students' attainment of high academic achievement.

The professional learning plan of the Wolcott Public Schools continues to focus on offering training and support that provides the knowledge and skills for our instructional staff to create a high level of achievement and learning for all students. During collaborative data team meetings, our staff view qualitative and quantitative data to make informed decisions about school improvement all in an effort to bring the Wolcott Vision of the Graduate alive. Our supportive parents and stakeholders are one of the many reasons we have been successful at Frisbie Elementary School. At Frisbie Elementary School we develop students who are lifelong learners to be productive members of our Wolcott community.
