"We are Readers" Kindergarten Celebration

Lee Elementary School is committed to engaging students, empowering all learners, and igniting curiosity in every child. Daily, our teachers and students are reminded that "WE CAN DO HARD THINGS!" Dedication, hard work, and perseverance contribute to our students' success. We strive to instill a growth mindset in our students, allowing our learners the opportunity to face challenges. We believe learning takes grit and if it doesn't challenge you, it doesn't change you!

Relationships are at the core of our community success. Our very active parent groups continually go above and beyond to create events designed to bring people together and to support our school mission. Our school partners with local organizations to offer after school enrichment programs such as instrumental music lessons, foreign language classes, and athletic coaching. Our parent groups fund coding and engineering programs as well as a robust art program to ignite unlimited possibilities for all students.

Beyond the researched-based instructional practices, the purposeful focus on meeting individual student needs, and a strong commitment to our home/school partnership, our team instills a sense of belonging for all people. Compassion, acceptance, and inclusion are reoccurring themes at Lee. Peace Week is a time dedicated to anti-bullying and compassion. Start With Hello Week is a time focused on inclusion, teaching children how to notice and act to end social isolation. Students are encouraged to be inclusive and empowered to use their voices for the betterment of those around them.

We are most proud of our warm climate where students feel safe to be themselves, surrounded by trusted adults who build them up to learn and grow.
