Davis Magnet School serves around 600 students ranging from preschool through sixth grade. Students from across Newport-Mesa Unified School District attend Davis based on a computerized lottery system that is conducted annually. Davis Magnet School is a unique learning environment with a special academic focus on math, science, and technology. Additionally, students have many opportunities to engage in the Arts, making Davis a true S.T.E.A.M. school.
The students of Davis Magnet School receive a high-quality education thanks to consistent collaboration by teachers and staff who provide numerous opportunities for students to apply critical thinking skills and solve real-life problems. As a result of creative planning and multiple resources, students engage in various hands-on learning experiences with leading experts in their field, along with a suite of technological resources. Not only do students at Davis excel academically, but also in music, street hockey, and philanthropic leadership endeavors that help students develop into positive contributors to our communities.
