Franklin East Elementary School is a back-to-basics school that focuses on a traditional education with an emphasis on each learner being given the opportunity to excel. Earning our second National Blue Ribbon in the last ten years, we continue to show that our students thrive in an environment built on a specific educational program which was conceived and developed with significant parental input. As a school of choice, Franklin East offers our community an alternative approach to education; a positive learning environment wherein students become equipped with the necessary skills to be decision makers and problem solvers.
Each day students are welcomed to an atmosphere of acceptance for ALL regardless of appearance, culture, ability, or skill. One of our core values includes instilling pride in and respect for self, others, and country. Students are prepared for the world by working towards mastery of competitive academic standards. Teachers work closely with parents to provide a solid educational foundation for students. To provide the highest quality instruction for our students, it is imperative that we recruit and train the finest teachers and provide strategic professional learning.
Our highly skilled educators understand what it takes to ensure students are both challenged and supported in all academic areas. Historically, our students have performed very high on standardized assessments. While this is an area of pride at Franklin East, we recognize that this accomplishment and consistent high achievement is due to strong relationships with our families, who are truly our partners in ensuring student success.
