Camelot Elementary School is a wonderful place to learn and grow! Many generations of families have passed through our school's hallways. The school prides itself on building relationships that allow our teachers, faculty, students, parents and community to thrive. Camelot's staff, students, parents, and community work collaboratively to create a positive climate and culture that promotes the social, emotional, and academic development of all students. Camelot Elementary is truly a community school.

Technology and innovation play a pivotal role in our continued success. In the words of George Couros, "Technology will never replace great teachers, but technology in the hands of great teachers is transformational." With such a talented staff, we are able to use technology to expand the realm of possibilities for how teachers teach and the way students learn. In providing learning opportunities beyond the walls of the school building, teachers are able to shape and mold curricular decisions that enhance our overall instructional program and prepare our students for the future. Emphasis is placed on student acquisition of effective communication, collaboration, and critical thinking skills. Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts and Math (STEAM) activities are embedded in each grade level's weekly lesson plans.

For many years, Camelot Elementary struggled to meet both federal and state academic standards. As a result of school leadership, an empowered staff, community support, and a shared vision, the school is now fully accredited. With a renewed sense of pride and accomplishment permeating throughout the Camelot community, there is no doubt that we will experience continued success!
