Reilly provides an inclusive, rigorous, and multicultural environment for all.

Margaret T. Reilly Elementary is an exemplary school committed to high academic achievement, an equitable approach to learning, additive and inclusive programming, Social Emotional Learning, and culturally responsive instruction. Reilly's data-driven, rigorous instruction resulted in several state academic distinctions for student performance in recent years, including Academic Achievement in Science, Post-Secondary Readiness, Top 25% Student Progress, Top 25% Comparative Academic Growth, and Top 25% Comparative Closing the Gaps. Helping all students achieve growth, regardless of demographics, earned Reilly national recognition with a nomination for the U.S. Department of Education's National Blue Ribbon Schools Award for schools closing achievement gaps in the 2018-2019 school year.

Dual language programming at Reilly is very inclusive, with all students participating in either Spanish or Mandarin in addition to English. Dual language is an additive approach that values students' language, culture, and heritage while providing equitable opportunities for developing bilingualism and biliteracy, grade level academic achievement in two languages, and multicultural competence. Reilly is the first public multilingual elementary in the central Texas area.

Implementation of dedicated Social Emotional Learning (SEL) practices have created a safe and inclusive learning environment where students thrive and achieve academic success. Adults also participate in SEL, which contributes to teacher effectiveness and well-being and to authentic family engagement and support for students at home. Culturally responsive learning and awareness fits in perfectly in the Reilly learning environment where students and families from all walks of life and backgrounds pursue student achievement while valuing language, celebrating culture, and honoring heritage.
