Chapman High School boasts a rich tradition of academic excellence, and is a school that "Finds A Way" to blend small-town spirit with an advanced and rigorous curriculum that prepares ALL students for their future success, while cultivating an unrivaled collection of students, staff, and community stakeholders called Panther Nation. A positive culture and climate permeates our building, anchored by a curriculum that supports personalized learning opportunities, including multiple Advanced Placement and Dual Credit courses, award-winning academic arts and journalism programs, championship athletic teams, and a myriad of community service projects.

As a recognized School of Excellence in our state, Chapman High School consistently outperforms and finishes among the top schools in South Carolina in terms of on-time graduation rate, Advanced Placement participation and scores, End-of-Course exam passing rates, and state and national standardized test scores. However, Chapman High School faculty and staff remain focused on individualized student learning, and each and every day, devoted faculty, staff, and administrators find ways to develop college and career ready students, with a focus on Four Es: Enrolled, Enlisted, Employable, or Entrepreneur. Furthermore, Chapman High School intentionally fosters and cultivates an environment of acceptance, respect, and kindness where students achieve excellence in and out of the classroom.
