Rocky River is a suburban, residential community, located nine miles west of Cleveland, Ohio on the Lake Erie shoreline. The vast majority of the city's 20,000 community members, many of whom hold prominent professional positions, are supportive, vested educational partners.
Rocky River High School, designated a National Blue Ribbon School of Excellence in 2012, is a comprehensive, four-year public high school with a student enrollment of 875. A total of 43% of our student population is identified as gifted. Rocky River High School is accredited by the Ohio Department of Education and does not publish a class ranking for students.
