Everyday is a GREAT Day at Central Elementary. Preparing our students for success is the center of every decision we make. Central is where our students enjoy learning in a safe and positive environment. We focus on the total child to thrive socially, emotionally, and academically. We have high expectations in a community that supports children to be strong in their abilities to meet life's challenges. SUCCESS is the only option.

The staff at Central is highly qualified, dedicated and believe in the success of children. Teacher Based Teams share and discuss students, evaluate the collected data, and collaborate to meet each child's needs. Our district is committed to the continuous improvement process through professional development. Stakeholders from the community are engaged in supporting teachers and staff. We attribute our academic achievement to proven instructional practices and opportunities to excel. Students know that teachers and staff are caring partners in every aspect of the Central experience.

We challenge all students with a robust curriculum, motivating lessons with researched-based objectives and utilize differentiated instruction. We believe in a culture of student empowerment. Accountability is shared between teachers and students. Central Staff embraces the idea that all students are our responsibility all of the time. Families and students know they can come to administrators for answers, teachers for guidance, and staff for support. Believing in children is eminent throughout the building. Success is the only option. Success is perseverance over challenges. Success is refining skills. Success is Central Elementary.
