Excited about the first day of kindergarten at New Franklin

New Franklin is made up of 55 passionate educators eager to create the best learning conditions for children, and they are committed to working collaboratively to achieve excellence in the areas of academics, behavioral and social-emotional learning. At New Franklin, the community both inside and outside the building believe in working together to provide an exceptional school experience for all. A highly committed group of educators, parents, and community partners work towards one common goal excellence for all New Franklin children.

Our school promotes student success through research-based instruction, positive behavioral interventions, and providing targeted instructional interventions with a commitment to academic growth for all students. Teachers promote community through the use of Open Circle and daily morning meetings. Students have the opportunity to learn and experience art, music, physical education, and STEAM activities along with the subjects of reading, writing, math, science, and social studies.

In addition, New Franklin is committed to sustaining the work of our Professional Learning Communities. The PLC process allows our staff to work together to plan quality instruction, identify interventions, and analyze student data. We believe all students should experience success and growth. New Franklin is a special place whose hallways are filled with educators committed to student success and with students who feel a sense of community and opportunity.
