Located in one of the most beautiful settings in northwest Montana, Russell Elementary is one of six elementary schools within School District 5. Russell School serves approximately 250 students from preschool to fifth grade. It is known for its small family feel and takes pride in providing a great education for its community.
Through a collaborative approach, Russell School is a place that all students are recognized and respected. The teachers know the importance of a good education and understand that Excellent Instruction Everyday in Every Classroom is essential to the future success of its students. High leverage instructional strategies are a part of what happens on a daily basis within all classrooms and is essential to our success.
Creating a positive atmosphere, working together, and taking care of all members of our school community is a driving force that allows our students and staff members to build the capacity on a daily basis that creates a culture in which all members are welcomed and enjoyed. The foundational platform for this is simple, no matter the situation, we take care of one another!
