Brother Rice, where every student becomes ready for tomorrow.

Inspired by the graced teachings of Blessed Edmund Rice, Brother Rice High School forms in young men of diverse circumstance life-giving values of faith and morals, character and integrity, knowledge and wisdom. As a Catholic high school, our graduates bear the responsibility to live lives of service, leadership, and good in the world today. Rooted in the Essential Elements of an Edmund Rice Christian Brother Education, a Brother Rice student is empowered by dynamic teachers, engaged parents, and accomplished alumni to employ his God-given gifts in the pursuit of an authentic, impactful and meaningful life.

Guided by the pursuit of personal excellence, students undertake a rigorous college preparatory program spanning a range of studies and learning support services from our distinctive Achieve Plus program and 1:1 iPad offering, to 38 Honors and Advanced Placement courses. The Band of Brothers peer leadership program is the centerpiece of a robust co-curricular offering bolstering self-confidence, forging leadership skills, and nurturing social-emotional well-being. With more than 25 student-led clubs and organizations, 27 interscholastic teams, and international and domestic mission-service experiences, a student embraces his responsibility to be his best-self in the classroom, on the playing field, and in all facets of his life.

The legacy of Brother Rice High School tells a vivid story of a proud history measured not in institutional awards, academic honors, faith experiences, and 68 state championships, but witnessed within a community of students, parents, and alumni sharing a common bond and a lasting passion for personal faith, character, and excellence.
