Mount View Middle School continues to "soar to new heights" thanks to the contributions of knowledgable and passionate staff, supportive parents, and intellectually eager students. The school provides students with multiple learning opportunities, both in and outside of the classroom; we are committed to academic excellence for each student. The rigorous instructional program engages students through relevant, real-world classroom experiences. Instruction is designed to provide students a thorough grounding in essential knowledge and skills that will propel them to be successful.
The goal for nurturing and an innovative learning environment integrates teaching and learning with technology, cultural proficiency, PBIS, restorative practices, and a focus on students first. MVMS students are important partners in this endeavor and share a voice in school decisions through several student leadership organizations.
The talents of MVMS students are showcased through curricular activities such as chorus, chamber choir, band, jazz band, orchestra, TV studio production as well as GT Seminars, Project Lead the Way, and World Language. After-school activities such as Science Olympiad, Heart and Sole, Alpha Achievers, and a host of others.
