Notre Dame Preparatory School (NDP), a Catholic, independent school for girls in grades 6-12, provides young women a transformative education rooted in Gospel values and inspired by the school's founding order, the School Sisters of Notre Dame. Transformation is at the heart of an NDP education - transformation of the individual, and in turn, transformation of the world. The words of Micah 6:8 - "to act justly, love tenderly, and walk humbly with God" - guide the members of the NDP community.
Academic excellence, spiritual growth, and the practice of justice are the pillars of an NDP education. Notre Dame Prep is anchored in tradition and contemporary in education. Students explore their passions, refine their talents, and develop their confidence. For example, the Middle Level Innovate-Design Time exposes students to hands-on, collaborative learning, while specialized STEAM and Humanities programs offer interdisciplinary study in the Upper Level. Internships, academic competitions, dual enrollment courses, 24 AP courses, and a variety of elective course offerings create a rigorous college prep program that leads to acceptance at the nation's leading colleges and universities.
Along with academics, Notre Dame Prep is committed to the development of the person through spirituality, direct service, co-curricular activities, and community life. Daily prayer, school-wide liturgies, prayer services, and class retreats provide students with the opportunity to explore a personal relationship with God and be part of a faith community. Direct service experiences are tangible expressions of the gospel in action and educates students to the work of advocacy and change. Student leadership opportunities at all grade levels abound. Beloved traditions connect NDP students as "sisters" within and across grade levels and with NDP alumnae and generations in celebration.
Notre Dame's mission of transformative education fosters intellectually curious, confident, and capable young women who are ready and inspired to change the world for the better.
